Sterilizer & washer control systems

Beta Star offers control systems for sterilizers and washers including glassware, cage & rack, and tunnel washers.

Sterilizer control packages from Beta Star are provided for new and re-manufactured sterilizers as well as for re-manufactured washers.

For sterilizers, there are two options:

Beta Star 2002 microprocessor control system with 4 line, 20 character display LCD operator interface with membrane keypad
Allen Bradley SLC 5/05 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with 6" or 10" color touch screen operator interface

Impact printers are provided as standard with either control system for acquisition of sterilizer cycle data. Ethernet communications are provided in the Allen Bradley packages for remote acquisition of cycle data to a local network.

For washers, Beta Star offers the Allen Bradley MicroLogix control system with PanelView 300 Micro operator interface. Impact printers are provided as optional for acquisition of washer cycle data.

Beta Star controls can also be retro-fitted to existing equipment on-site. Control packages utilize non-proprietary components which are available at competitive costs from Beta Star or your local supplier.

All control packages are fully vaildatable and are provided with supporting documentation.

For cGMP pharmaceutical sterilizer applications, our Allen Bradley package is compliant with FDA 21 CFR including Part 11 "Electronic Signatures" and the Quality Regulations.

Software for each control system is developed using the Life Cycle methodology and in accordance with stringent Beta Star protocols to provide a reliable and repeatable process which is easy to validate.
