Plant: Honey Brook, PA

General Job Description

The Benefits Coordinator is required to oversee the company benefit & wellness programs, as well as legal (employment compliance) and general HR support.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted relationship with each RVI associate (learn everyone’s name within 3 months of start date – approx. 250 employees)
  • Full ownership of the benefits program including: educating new hires and existing associates, coordinating open enrollment (annually), identifying new benefit improvements (annually).
  • Coordinate medical plan review with RVI Broker and present recommendations for future year medical plan cost structure
  • Maintain the weekly funding report (we offer a self-insured medical plan)
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices
  • Full ownership of the company wellness program including facilitating annual biometric screening, flu shots, and wellness competitions.
  • Responsible for HR legal reporting including: FMLA, ADA, Unemployment, Domestics, EEOC, VET & ACA
  • Become the trusted advisor to assist associates with medical claim and/or personal financial issues

Buyer

Plant: Honey Brook facility

General Job Description

The Buyer position exists to procure raw material or commodity items and services.  This individual is responsible for determining what to procure based on a work order bill of material (BOM).  They must understand all nuances associated with each specific BOM in order to communicate intelligently to our suppliers. The Buyer is measured by their ability to source required materials in a cost efficient and timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders for products and services based on the production required dates.
  • Interface with Production, Project Management, Sales, Quality and Engineering to supply component parts per delivery schedule requirements, maintain proper inventory levels to ensure on time delivery, coordinate return of damaged items, expedite parts, and maintain appropriate files and records
  • Participate in negotiating formal agreements with suppliers as necessary
  • Collaborate with accounting to resolve memos to buyers, credit hold issues, invoice errors, packing slip mistakes and purchase order reconciliation to ensure on hand quantities are accurately depicted in ERP system
  • Drive innovation and focus on continuous improvement within the Supply Chain
  • Advise operations management on logistical considerations as they influence cycle time, transportation, and product costs
  • Satisfy production requirements for materials based on the needs purchased report
  • Replenish max/min items as assigned by the purchasing manager
  • Maintain and control min/max quantity level for applicable items

Outer Area Welder

Plant: Morgantown facility

Shift: 1st Shift

General Job Description

A Welder/Fitter is required to cut and burn in relation to the fabrication process, fabricate, weld, and straighten all types of materials used in the company’s fabrication and welding operation with little or no supervisory assistance in the shop.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Qualified WPSs 10 Rev 6 and 68A Rev 4
  • Ability to read tape measure to 1/64”
  • Able to weld in tight areas with minimal repairs
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Welding with multiple processes in multiple positions as required
  • Experience performing x-ray quality welds
  • Familiar with weld map documentation
  • Understand proper use of weld gauge
  • Read and follow weld procedures, QC plans, and other work instruction documents
  • Setup and adjustment of welding machines and plasma torches
  • Above average ability to read and interpret blueprints and AWS weld symbols
  • Layout and fitting as directed by drawing or process sheet
  • Perform basic NDE procedures (LPT and VT)

Polisher

General Job Description

Polishers use handheld power tools to correct defects, smooth, and prepare metal surfaces.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate polishing equipment
  • Maintain buffing materials and equipment—including buffers, finishing wheels, and finishing machines
  • Assemble products to determine buffing areas and ensure pieces fit together after finishing
  • Maintain a safe working environment by conducting inspections on equipment; following instructions on work order; and examining completed product
  • Conduct minor repairs when necessary

Skills / Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of equipment needed for job—including wheels used for buffing and polishing
  • Basic mathematical knowledge
  • Able to keep work area clean and well organized
  • Experience with a wide variety of stainless steel alloys

Quality Control Inspector

Plant: Honey Brook Facility

Shift: 1st Shift

General Job Description

Inspectors ensure that products manufactured meet customer requirements, industry and federal standards.  An Inspector’s goal is to assure that products produced can withstand regular use, work as intended, do not contain imperfections or weaknesses and will fit properly with other mechanical parts.  This is accomplished by maintaining quality standards during incoming material reviews and inspections, in-process production, and finished products inspection while accurately recording quality results.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports in a professional manner
  • Represent RVII as a professional voice to internal and external customers regarding RVII’s quality program, manuals, and procedures
  • Understand the quality procedures, audits, and surveillances
  • Verify inspection record compliance and proper documentation compliance
  • Perform dimensional inspection using basic and complex medial inspection tools
  • Perform gauge calibration (verification) as required
  • Verify hydrostatic/pneumatic tests are properly executed in accordance to established procedures
  • Perform receiving inspections
  • Perform audits and surveillances when required
  • Review supplier proposals for compliance to contract requirements when requested by the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Abide by and be proactive in compliance to all safety requirements
  • Continue to learn and qualify in all aspects of inspection
  • Act as a mentor for the Inspection Technicians

Skills / Qualifications

  • The ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints, specifications and codes.
  • Identify and know the meanings for standard GD&T symbols
  • Communicate effectively in both written and oral manner
  • Qualified to perform UT thickness readings
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in fabrication or machine shop environment.
  • Current or past certification to AWS, or ASNT-TC -1A NDT disciplines.
  • Basic knowledge of the A.S.M.E. Section VIII/IX and/or AWS D1.1/D1.2 codes.
  • Working knowledge of precision dimensional measurement, and surface finish inspection tools and techniques
  • Experience with ASME Code VIII, and NQA-1or similar Quality System.
  • Working knowledge of computer office applications.

Educational / Physical Requirements

  • One of the following 4 options
    • One year of satisfactory performance as an R-V Industries Inspection Technician
    • High School and/or Technical School graduate plus 3 years of related experience in equivalent inspection
    • Completion of college level work leading to an associate degree in a related discipline plus 1 year of related experience in equivalent inspection
    • Graduation from a 4-year college plus 6 months of related experience in equivalent inspection activities
  • Everyday bending, crouching, stooping, standing, and overhead reaching
  • Everyday exposure to moving machinery, dust, dirt, grease, or other disagreeable elements
  • Lifting up to 50-75 lbs

Shipper/Receiver

Plant: Honey Brook, PA

Shift: Day (8am – 4pm)

General Job Description

A Shipper/Receiver is required to perform all material handling operations assisted with shipping and receiving. The operations involve the loading and unloading of trucks, movement of materials, and documentation associated with shipping and receiving.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Document, wrap, and label packages
  • Coordinate carrier pick-ups
  • Prepare and maintain packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and material condition reports
  • Maintain files of receiving documents
  • Unload/receive parts, finished goods, and returned goods
  • Pack/unpack shipping containers in a safe manner
  • Confirm shipment accuracy to ensure that materials meet purchase order specifications
  • Receive material into company software
  • Record receipts determines project numbers and material storage location identification

Skills/Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience as a shipper/receiver or material handler

  • Welding with multiple processes in multiple positions as required
  • Experience performing x-ray quality welds
  • Familiar with weld map documentation
  • Understand proper use of weld gauge
  • Read and follow weld procedures, QC plans, and other work instruction documents
  • Setup and adjustment of welding machines and plasma torches
  • Proficiency with manual and semi-automatic execution of weld processes
  • Experience welding ASME Code pressure vessels
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and AWS weld symbols
  • Layout and fitting as directed by drawing or process sheet
  • Create fixtures to hold part while being welded
  • Perform basic NDE procedures (LPT and VT)
  • Understand tolerances and the importance of maintaining them

  • 5+ years welding/fitting experience
  • Must be able to complete and pass a physical assessment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
